Frankenstein has the appearances of a giant human, wearing tattered brown rags. Like Godzilla, Frankenstein has regenerative powers, being able to heal from damage at a rapid rate. He was once able to regrown a hand which had been cut off. Unlike most Toho monsters Frankenstein has human intelligence and he can set traps or use weapons against his enemies.
OriginsThe heart of the original Frankenstein's Monster is discovered and sent to Hiroshima, Japan for study during World War II. The lab is destroyed when the atomic bomb is dropped but the radiation causes the heart to generate into humanoid child. Years later a young boy, bearing a striking resemblance to the monster, is found living in the wild, killing and eating livestock. Two doctors named Sueko Togami and James Bowen take the child to a lab to care for him, while studying him. The boy starts growing quickly and soon becomes much bigger than an average human. A doctor name Kawaji attempts to take a sample of Frankenstein's body, causing Frankenstine to flee. Frankenstein escapes the lab but loses one of his hands while attempting to escape. The creature comes to sees Sueko one more time before heading back to Hiroshima. The JSDF try to hunt him down, but he escapes from them twice. Kawaji still wants a sample of Frankenstein's body, so he goes after the creature personally with two others. When Baragon escapes from underground and attacks them, Frankenstein puts aside his resentment and comes to save them. In the end of the Frankenstein battles Baragon, choking him and breaking his neck. But a volcanic fissure opens underneath Frankenstein and Baragon and both are swallowed by the Earth. An alternate ending involved Frankenstein fighting Oodako, the giant octopus from King Kong vs Godzilla, after killing Baragon, with Oodako killing Frankenstein, but this ending was never used Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankenstein_%28Frankenstein_vs._Baragon%29 | |
